How do you say Merry Christmas to a person who belongs to the East Orthodox religion? - orthodox christmas cards

To do the Orthodox faith, practice, not every year to Christmas 25 December. They have a feast of the Nativity - probably closer to the Christian Christmas. I wonder if I someone in the Orthodox faith, a merry Christmas, which is the equivalent of greeting welcome? Thank you!

I am orthodox, and is absolutely the use of Merry Christmas. Christmas is an important source of celebration in the church. This is not a religious fast 11/15 Christmas Eve, the Christmas season. No animal products or alcohol, with some exceptions, a few days. Some extra services. Services on Christmas Eve, at 10:30 clock with a dinner celebration after breaking the fast. Then there is a continuation of the season until 7 January. N during the early postwar period the birth of Christ.
